About Melanie Brandt BSc, DCDr. Brandt was born and raised in Kelowna, so when it came time to choose where to start her practice Kelowna was the obvious choice. Her friends and family always encouraged an active lifestyle, and sports are a big part of her life; when she’s not in the clinic you can catch her playing soccer, cycling, running, golfing, out on the lake, or up at the ski hill in the winter.Dr. Brandt attended the University of British Columbia in Vancouver where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then went on to Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon where she graduated with honours. While at WSCC she was a member of the Sports Medicine team. Dr. Brandt is a lifelong student who has dedicated herself to learning the most innovative techniques in Chiropractic and Soft Tissue Therapies. She currently holds certification in Active Release Techniques® (ART®) and Graston Technique®, and she uses these techniques along with traditional Chiropractic to resolve many injuries. She also volunteers at the Ironman Canada in Penticton annually treating athletes.
