About Dr. Kyle McLeod BSc, DCOriginally from the Kootenays, Dr. McLeod had visited Kelowna many times throughout his life and when it came time to choose a city to settle in Kelowna was an easy choice. He could not be more excited to begin practicing in this beautiful and active community. Having been involved in hockey, skiing, and golf throughout his life, Dr. McLeod became interested in pursuing a career in the health care field with a specific interest in sports injuries. Seeing how his dad, a ten-time Ironman competitor, was kept in top physical condition by his chiropractor, Dr. McLeod saw how much he could enhance and maintain not only people's athletic ability, but also their everyday quality of life by becoming a chiropractic physician.Dr. McLeod received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia and went on to attend chiropractic school at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, where he graduated with honors. During his time in school, Dr. McLeod recognized the benefits of incorporating soft tissue techniques to compliment traditional chiropractic care, specifically employing Graston Technique and Active Release Techniques (ART). Along with treating at numerous sporting events while in Portland as a member of the Sports Medicine team, Dr. McLeod has also volunteered at the Ironman Canada in Penticton providing ART treatment for the past 2 years.
